Payment Method
Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. Checks (payable to FPA), MasterCard, VISA and cash are accepted. Sorry, we are unable to accept debit cards.

Confirmation
A confirmation of your registration will be mailed or emailed (depending on your preference) upon receipt of your registration form and payment.

Late Registration
You may register for a course up to 24 hours in advance of its start. No late charge is assessed. However, it is strongly recommended that you register early, as many popular courses fill will before these dates. Walk-in registrations are not permitted.

Schedule Changes
FPA may need to change times/dates of classes as necessary. We will do our best to notify the students of those changes. Feel free to call us at any time if you have a question about your class times or dates.

Age Policy
Supervised children are always welcomed at the facility. To enroll in our training classes, the minimum age is 13. Teens aged 13-16 will need an adult to accompany them through the classes. Anyone 16 or older may take classes without an adult companion.

Withdrawals and Refunds
FPA reserves the right to change dates, times, and prices of classes without prior notice.

To withdraw from a course you must notify the Training department (571-749-1102), email us at mgupta@fcac.org / jerausquin@fcac.org or fax us at (571-749-1112).  Please include your full name and the class you are withdrawing from. No refund will be processed until notification of withdrawal has been received by FPA.

To receive a full refund or a class credit for future classes' students must cancel from a class no later than 72 hrs prior to the start of the first sessions. After the first session, no refunds will be made.

Students who cancel 24 hrs or fewer in advance of the first day of a course will not receive a refund of any kind. You have the option of applying the course fee to another class (class credit).

Please allow four to six weeks for a refund.

Class Discounts

Fairfax-County non-profit organization benefits:

  • In County & Out of County membership……..$26.00
  • Internet Subscription……………………..$206.00 (Includes annual membership)
  • Representatives from any non-profit organization in Fairfax County may become members of FPA for the in-county rate of $26 per year, regardless of whether the individual representative resides in Fairfax County or not. 
  • Members of such a non-profit organization are entitled to enroll in FPA classes at the initial in-county rate.
  • An additional 15% discount will be given for a class of ten or more from their organization.

Out-of-county non-profit organization benefits:

  • Non-profit organizations outside Fairfax County are eligible for a 10% discount in classes for a group of ten or more.
Notice:

Discounts will be given as long as full payment is made by the non-profit organization, accompanied by a statement on a letterhead that the class is being taken to produce programming for the organization.

Student Discount:

  • Virginia college students will receive a 20% discount on all classes.
  • Senior Citizens ( age 60+) receive 20% discount on all classes.
  • All DC metropolitan area Elementary, Middle School and High School students receive 20% discount on all classes. This student discount does not apply to the summer camps on TV and Radio.
