In the spirit of serving Fairfax County and its surrounding areas, FPA’s Community Outreach & Development department is dedicated to helping local residents create content of interest by and for our community.

The mission of the department is to support FPA members in their goals & objectives, to engage in fundraising initiatives on behalf of our organization, and to develop strategic partnerships with area nonprofit organizations, corporations and educational institutions. Our mission is accomplished by maintaining clear and consistent communication with not only our members but also with local media outlets and the general public.

The overall goal of the Outreach & Development department is to reach out to our community and in the process enhance FPA’s reputation in the Washington metropolitan area. We believe that by informing the public about the significance of community media, local residents will discover all of the opportunities that access to the media provides.
